Absolutely. This step is crucial for our clinicians to grasp your current health and tailor treatment for you. You can easily complete the required labs through your health insurance's preferred vendor, as insurance typically covers these costs. If you prefer not to use insurance due to lack of coverage or for privacy reasons, we can arrange for the labs to be completed for you at a cost of $175. For follow-up, labs will be conducted every 3-6 months, adapting to your needs and treatment response. If you prefer a cash-pay option for these less extensive follow-up labs, the cost is $75.
Will I need lab work?
Expect a call from one of our providers for a brief chat about your symptoms and treatment objectives. We'll address any questions you may have. If you decide to proceed with treatment, we'll set up your official 1:1 virtual appointment. Before this virtual visit, we'll arrange a comprehensive hormone lab panel for you. Completing these labs is crucial as they serve as a guide for your treatment plan before initiating testosterone therapy.
What happens once I schedule an appointment?

Testosterone comes in different methods, most commonly as injections or gel. Injections can be self-administered into the muscle or subcutaneous fat. The gel is applied to the skin and is directly absorbed into the bloodstream. While most clients prefer the benefits of injection, your method of treatment is based on your goals. The frequency and dosing of injections vary based on your personal response, which is why it’s important to have guidance from a provider trained in the tricks of the trade!
